You wondered, during lockdown if your older postings were of interest? Very much so, how else can you keep up with Thames shipping past and present, The PLA are best placed and have access but they aren't going to do anything like this, it doesn't bring in any more money for them but pictures from you, Bob Scott, Martin Klingsick, Krispen Atkinson, Geoffrey Watson, Robert J Smith and others are a real insight into what's going on and, what things used to be like, you're all like A G Linney and his "Peepshow of The Port of London". Now, who can come up with a comprehensive view of the various cruise ships at Tilbury, you'd think there would be loads but I haven't seen them and, coincidently, Spirit of Discovery is slightly longer than the Mauretania, does that make it the longest passenger ship in any of the London docks ever? And apart from a couple of photos I think, the recent timelapse of the Agena is the first decent view I can think of, of the view upstream at Long Reach without the Littlebrook power station chimney bisecting the QE II bridge. So keep on keeping us in the picture. And why are there no, apart from Sheppey, decent Thames webcams?
